After a brief company presentation, the students were given practical insights into the clay modelling process at the design studio. Besides getting theoretical background info about the process from the CAD file to milling the clay model as well as the process of clay 3D-printing of scaled models, the students were able to try their skills on a 1:1 Clay model. The event continued with an interesting discussion about physical and digital design, before concluding with a tour of the other areas of the STREICHER Group in Deggenau.
